SmartMat: World’s first intelligent yoga mat.
Los-Angeles based SmartMat is the world’s first intelligent yoga mat that uses a combination of artificial intelligence and advanced sensors to provide users with real-time feedback for better body alignment, posture and balance while practising yoga.
Apart from several awards, SmartMat was featured in BBC, Forbes, CNN, CNBC, Mashable among several others.
The multitude of sensors and the engineering requirements presented a host of challenges for the design. The final result was a sleek and appealing design that met all technical requirements and was highly suited for mass-production using an AL extrusion based design.
